Movement: Hip Hop in LA | Opening Reception photos

Friday evening served as a night of art, culture and hip hop in LA history, and we had Rime's very own Pat Martinez involved with the event showing his Tupac piece. With LA talents showing art ranging from traditional paintings, graffiti, photography, installations, video and even chocolates... the city can sleep a little easier knowing hip hop in LA, after all these years, has had a positive effect on the city and its' youth.

A big thank you to the Department of Cultural Affairs for the City of Los Angeles. They put on a very fresh event featuring historical artifacts from LA's extensive history in Hip Hop.

Special shout out to all who participated: Marcus Anthony, B+, Chaz Bojorquez, Greg Bojorquez, Raul "Frame" Gamboa, Ben Higa, Abraham Kalili, Kazz B, Kofie, Jonus Lara, Man One, Patrick Martinez, Mathew McDaniel, Mear, Eriberto Oriol, Estevan Oriol, Relic, Retna, Tempt One, Saber One, Sherm, Eric "Cre8" Walker and Ani Yapundzhyan.

Here's some photo's... enjoy!
